Our goal at BRMS is to provide a dynamic and inviting atmosphere where students can study, read and research.
Library hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM until
Circulation Policy: Students may check out 2 books for 2 weeks. Books may be renewed, but must be presented to the librarians for renewal. Overdue notices are sent out once a week. After a 3 day grace period, students are charged ten cents a day in fines. If any item is overdue, nothing else can be checked out until that item is returned. However, even if students have overdue materials, they can always get always get a loaner book or magazine.

Library Announcements  BRMS Library ClosedBRMS library was flooded on February 1, 2010. It will be closed until the damage is repaired. Students can return books at the book drop in the mixing bowl outside the library. You can still access all the online databases etc. through the URL and links to the right of this article. Library Links  BRMS Library Catalog OPACBRMS Library is available 24/7. Use this link to access the BRMS Library Homepage from your home computer. From there students can either search the BRMS library catalog or link to multiple research databases. Details on all the databases are provided in a library file to the left. See the librarians at school or e-mail them for database passwords. EasyBibA excellent resource for the new MLA 7 format. Citations for some books can be found by simply adding the book's ISBN. Prince William County OnLine LibraryClick on the Electronic Resources tab to access innumerable resouces and databases. To use these resources students will need a public library card. Applications are available in the school library or on the library website under the Parents tab. |
